Is Harry Styles trying to tell us something? A cryptic new website was unveiled on Monday, and fans believe the “As It Was” singer is teasing a new era.
The website, webelongtogether.co, features a video clip of a packed crowd of fans. While the video itself does not explicitly reference Styles, fans are convinced this particular clip is taken from his “Forever, Forever” music video, which was released on Dec. 27. The surprise 8.5-minute clip, a tribute from Styles to his fans, ends with the phrase, “WE BELONG TOGETHER.”
It’s worth mentioning that webelongtogether.co is copyrighted to Sony Music Entertainment, which owns Columbia Records, the label to which Styles is signed.
Speculation that a new Styles era is on the way is bolstered when fans actually click the video clip on the website. The link redirects to an iPhone contact card for HSHQ, the official fan account used by Styles’s team, along with a phone number. After clicking on the phone number, the message “We belong together” autopopulates, and once sent, fans receive a link where they can sign up for updates. After the sign-up is complete, fans receive a text message saying, “HAVE A NICE DAY.”
Styles’s official website, hstyles.co.uk, is also noticeably different. The website now consists of a single black arrow pointing toward a “Sign Up” button. The same “HAVE A NICE DAY” message appears once fans have successfully input their information for updates.
As if that weren’t enough, posters and digital billboards featuring the same clip of the crowd are popping up in cities across the globe, including New York, Berlin, Palermo and São Paulo, according to fans.
Yahoo reached out to Styles’s team for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
Styles has yet to make an announcement of any sort, but fans believe that all these signs point to new music. Should Styles release new music this year, it would be his first time doing so since his Grammy-winning album, Harry’s House, debuted in 2022. Styles, in recent years, has turned his attention to acting, appearing in films like Don’t Worry Darling and My Policeman.
Yahoo News will keep you posted if more clues are revealed.
