Two men wounded in northern Israel
In northern Israel, two men aged 85 and 34 were moderately injured on Thursday morning by shrapnel after a Hezbollah rocket attack, Magen David Adom said.
The two were evacuated to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed, with the 34-year-old suffering a head wound, and the 85-year-old suffering a wound in one of his hands.
After the attack, the military said that it was operating at the scenes of reported shrapnel falls, while it urged the people in the surrounding areas to avoid any affected location.
"We appeal to the public to be attentive and obey instructions, not to go to missile landing sites and destruction sites, not to touch interception parts, and to allow police and rescue forces to perform life-saving operations," said the police spokesperson.
Hezbollah fired a total of 35 rockets against border communities, according to Army Radio, with no injuries or impacts reported.
